Pimples, who doesn’t hate to have them? Most people get them at some point in their lives yet others are much worst. This provoked them to use pimple treatments. There are countless anti-pimple cream, soap and medications available in the market today. But most of them are pricey. Often, for the product to be effective you have to use it for a couple of weeks, months and even years to get the pimple free face you’re hoping for.  Imagine the amount of money you wasted. If you add up the total money you spent buying those products, you could buy yourself two weeks worth of grocery items.

To those who wonder how to get rid of pimples without having to spend a big amount, I gathered here some cheap tips on how to get rid of pimples and at the same time save money.

Cold Compress

Apply an ice pack to your pimple as often as every 30 minutes; hold the cold compress for approximately 2 minutes every application. The ice will help numb the area around the pimple which is often painful, it also helps to shrink the size of the pimple and reduce the redness and inflammation at the same time.

Wash Your Face

Washing your face with a mild soap is the cheapest way to get rid of those pimples. It’s pretty simple to. Cleanse your face with mild soap for 2-3 times a day, that would help make your skin less oily and with less bacteria and may even help you with blackheads.

Egg White

Eggs aren’t that expensive, if you have your own barn and chickens then you have free supply of eggs. This method can be quite messy, but it’s worth the mess. Separate the yolk from the egg white and then apply the egg white unto the pimples make sure it covers them. Take some extra precautions while applying, egg whites are slippery. It could fall from your face to your shirt.

Toothpaste

The good news about this method is that you don’t have to buy new toothpaste. That inexpensive! You just use the one you’re using when brushing your teeth, then just get a small amount and apply it to your pimples. But keep in mind gel toothpaste is not advisable. Use the plain white toothpaste. Before going to bed, wash your face then dry it. Apply small amount of white toothpaste and then go to bed, don’t forget to wash it off in the morning.

There are many methods on how to get rid of pimples, but remember preventing pimples is much better than curing it.
