If that happens, you can use a lotion or moisturizer to counter this problem. Drinking lemon juice is also another effective acne solution. It cleanses pores, remove excess oil, killing bacteria and improve your skin regeneration. What’s more, you want to ask? Not to mention that it is actually very delicious to drink. I don’t think anyone in the world would hate to drink lemon juice.

Cucumber can be another alternative for home remedies. All you need to do is to blend a peeled cucumber and apply its juice on your skin or face. If you don’t like the idea of using cucumber, you can try natural oatmeal. Just like cucumber juice, you are going to apply the lukewarm or slightly cool cooked oatmeal to your face for 12 to 15 minutes, and then wash it off completely. Natural oatmeal can be considered as an astringent because it actually removes excess oil and impurities from your skin.
